'PM Erdogan's visit to Iraq important step': US
U.S. Ambassador to Ankara Ross Wilson said Monday "Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's upcoming visit to Iraq is an important step."

Speaking to reporters, Wilson said that the U.S. encourages dialogue between the two neighbouring countries --Turkey and Iraq.

"Turkey has played an important role to help stability in Iraq. I am confident that Prime Minister Erdogan's visit to Iraq would be an important step in this direction," Wilson said.

Reminded about comments made in the New Yorker magazine on the U.S.'s ties with PJAK, Wilson insisted that "the U.S. does not cooperate with PJAK. We have no relations with PJAK. We look at PJAK as a terrorist organization."
