A locally-made explosive blew up in Jammu and Khashmir on Sunday wounding at least 11 policemen, an Indian news agency said.
The police personnel were injured when the vehicle they were boarding was blown up in Bandipore district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, Indo-Asian News Service said.
The explosion took place when the bullet-proof vehicle of the anti-insurgency Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police hit a pre-planted Improvised Explosive Device.
There was a massive explosion and 11 police personnel were injured. They were admitted to hospital for treatment," it added.
Security forces have rushed to the scene for investigations.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
