Poland's prime minister told National Radio Wednesday the parliament will be dissolved in August and early parliamentary elections will be in September.
Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski said a decision had been made on the elections but it hasn't been announced because of the national mourning for victims of a Polish bus crash Sunday when 26 Roman Catholic pilgrims died and 24 were injured in southern France.
The three-day mourning ends at midnight Wednesday.
The Polish parliament is scheduled to vote its own dissolution Aug. 22 and early elections for a new parliament are planned for Sept. 30, the Nasz Dziennik daily reported.
Kaczynski is expected to announce his decision on the elections date Friday evening, Polish Radio said.
Last week, Kaczynski told reporters in Warsaw political disagreements between the parties in his ruling coalition were likely to lead to early elections.
