A mild 4.7 magnitude earthquake hit Haiti on Monday 20 miles (35 km) west of Port-au-Prince, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake struck at 4:36 a.m./0936 GMT at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km), the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
