A Russian helicopter has gone missing with six crew members on board in West Siberia, Interfax and RIA news agencies reported on Monday.
The Mi-8 carrier, owned by Aviaprom, was on a flight from Salekhard, an oil-industry city about 2,000 km northeast of Moscow,to an airfield near the Shchuchye River on Sunday.
It lost contact and could not be reached at the scheduled time of 1020 GMT, a spokesman of the Transport Ministry was quoted as saying.
The search strive, however, has been hampered by the difficult weather condition, RIA said.
