Russia and the United States are no longer strategic threats to one another and want to work together in addressing global challenges, Russian news agency Interfax reported on Sunday.

"We have reaffirmed that the era when Russia and the United States viewed one another as enemies, or as a strategic threat, is gone," says a declaration on the strategic framework of Russia-U.S. relations circulated after President Vladimir Putin's talks with U.S. President George W. Bush.
