The head of a Saudi Arabian chamber of commerce Tuesday called on Turkish businesspeople to invest in his country.

Abdul Rahman Bin Ali Al Jeraisy, the chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, said that Saudi Arabia wanted to make use of Turkey's experiences, and called on Turkish businesspeople to invest in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia had taken giant leap forward in infrastructure, technology, health, education, electricity generation and transmission, water and highways, Al Jeraisy said during a meeting in which Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also participated.

Turkey's State Minister Zafer Caglayan, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek and Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz were the other participants of the meeting.

Al Jeraisy said Saudi Arabia was attaching great importance to development program.

Also, Al Jeraisy said that Saudi Arabian businesspeople were willing to make agricultural investments in various countries, including Turkey.
