Six injured in bomb blast in south-east Turkey

Six people were injured in a bomb blast in the south-eastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir on Friday morning, the Anadolu news agency reported.

The bomb was placed at a bus stop used by military personel in the centre of the city.

Television footage showed that the blast smashed windows of nearby shops and businesses.

On Sunday, 14 people were injured in a bomb blast in front of a shop in the Bakirkoy district of Istanbul.

Authorities blamed PKK for that attack but the organization denied any responsibility.
