Spain's Group Essentium said on Wednesday it would make an investment of 400 million euro and establish two cement plants in Turkey.
The Spanish group said it would construct plants in northwestern province of Bilecik and southern province of Osmaniye and the plants were expected to start production in 2011.
A statement by the chairperson of Group Essentium said the plants that would be established in Turkey -- one of the 10 largest economies in the world -- would have a great potential thanks to dynamic Turkish economy and its geographical location.
The plants in Turkey were expected to produce 4 million tons of cement a year, the statement said.
