Turkish Airlines (THY) is planning to conduct more number of scheduled flights from Germany to the Turkish city of Istanbul.
"THY's main goal is to provide good services for the Turkish community in Germany as well as for the German passengers desiring to travel from their home country to the Middle East and Far East," said Isa Al, a press officer for THY on Thursday.
"We have the youngest fleet in Europe. Our in-cabin services are remarkable and our prices are resistant to competition. The number of German passengers who prefer THY has increased from 30 to 40 percent recently," Al said.
Al also said that THY was the second airline company after German Lufthansa with its 200 flights from Germany to foreign destinations every week.
In accordance with THY's decision to increase flights between Germany and Istanbul, the number of daily flights conducted between Dusseldorf and Istanbul will be increased to 4 starting from March 29.
Moreover, THY will conduct 15 flights from Stuttgart to Istanbul every week and it will start direct flights from Munich to various destinations in Anatolia.
