Tukish deputy PM: Israeli commender remarks wrongful, unfriendly
Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek said Saturday that the recent remarks made by the Israeli Ground Forces Commander Avi Mizrahi "were irresponsible, wrongful, unfriendly and not in line with historical realities".

Speaking to the AA correspondent, Cicek stressed that such remarks could open deep wounds in bilateral relations with Israel.

"I hope that the Israeli authorities will make statements to satisfy the Turkish public," Cicek also said.

The Israeli Ground Forces Commander Mizrahi had made remarks accusing Turkey of the incidents of 1915 and presence of troops in Turkish President of Northern Cyprus.
