Turkish troops were beginning to withdraw from northern Iraq a week after a cross-border offensive against PKK militants, the spokesman for Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga security forces said on Friday.
"Since last night there are no attacks and the Turkish forces are withdrawing," Peshmerga spokesman Jabbar Yawar said, adding his information came from Iraqi border guards.
