Deputy Chairman of Syrian-Turkish Businessmen & Industrials' Council Wadah al-Ottri, on Wednesday, underlined that the Council plays a pivotal role in boosting and consolidating trade and economic ties between Syria and Turkey.
A delegation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce visited Adana Governorate and met Governor Ihsan Ates to invite him to the Forum of Syrian-Turkish Businessmen & Industrials due in Damascus next April.
The Turkish official accepted the invitation, saying "there isn't any obstacle to develop and enhance trade between the two neighboring countries."
Member of the Council Salwa al-Ansari, for her part, pointed out to the big increase in the trade exchange volume between both countries during the latest years, adding "the Council aspires for raising trade volume to higher levels."
She announced that Turkish Premier Recep Tayyib Erdogan will attend the upcoming Forum in Damascus.
