Abdullah Aydogan Kalabalık / Cairo, World Bulletin
A common strategic assistance project is being prepared between Arab League countries and Turkey on political, economic, security, culture and social development issues.
Arab League`s Europe Department President Muhammed Fatih El Nasir gave information about the preparations of the Turkish State and the Arab League on this issue.
Nasir said the foreign ministers of Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Djibouti and Turkey will join the next meeting in April that will be held in Cairo, and all the details of the cooperation will be discussed.
Nasır stated that cooperation steps between Turkey and Arab League were taken by being mindful of the sensitivities and interests of all sides.
Stressing Turkey's attitude on Israel attack on Gaza, Nasır said Turkish-Arab cooperation will strengthen stability in the region.
The first consensus on this issue were achieved in 2007 during a meeting among Iraq`s neighboring countries in Turkey.
