Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babacan gave messages of unity and solidarity during his formal visit to Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Babacan met businessmen from Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina at a breakfast on the second day of his visit to this country.
The Turkish foreign minister underscored importance of Bosnia-Herzegovina's unity and solidarity, and said that he was sure the country would have a bright future thanks to unity and solidarity.
Babacan said that the two countries should boost their cooperation in energy and construction.
The foreign minister also welcomed the demand of the Bosnia-Herzegovinan authorities to prolong the Nabucco project to their country.
The Nabucco pipeline is a planned natural gas pipeline that will transport natural gas from Turkey to Austria, via Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary. It will run from Erzurum in Turkey to Baumgarten an der March, a major natural gas hub in Austria.
Babacan later visited EUFOR Camp Butmir, the Turkish unit and the main market area in downtown Sarajevo.
