Jointly organised by Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) and the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI), a seminar titled "the New Turkish Dynamic: What Impact on the EU-Turkey relations," will be held in Paris on Thursday.
The seminar will consist of three sessions under three different topics: 'Turkey and the EU: current state of affairs and obstacles,' 'Turkey in its regional environment: Middle East and Russia' and 'Europe-Turkey-France a constructive dialogue for the future.
Can Peker, President of Tesev and Dominique David, Vice President of IFRI will deliver keynote speeches at the seminar.
Elisabeth Guigou, Vice President of French Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee; Oguz Demiralp, Turkish Secretary General for EU affairs; Joost Lagendijk, Dutch MEP and Chairman of EU's Inter-parliamentary Delegation; Jean Cristophe Flori, EU Commissioner for Enlargement; and Turkish columnists and scholars like Cengiz Candar, Ahmet Insel, Mural Belge and Daniel Vernet; the International Relations Director of French Daily Le Monde are among speakers at the seminar.
If his busy schedule in the Turkish Parliament allows, State Minister in charge of Economy Mehmet Simsek is also expected to attend the seminar and deliver a speech.
