Turkey expects Iraq to arrest guilties of attack in Kirkuk
Turkey expects Iraqi authorities to apprehend and punish perpetrators of a deadly suicide attack late July in Kirkuk which killed at least 22 people and injured 120 others, a spokesman with the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Friday.

"Our expectation from the Iraqi authorities is that perpetrators of this attack are apprehended and punished, and make sure that such incidents would not happen again," Burak Ozuergin told a weekly press briefing.

The spokesman said terrorist attacks aimed at damaging peace and stability not only in Kirkuk but also in the entire country, urging Kirkuk's residents to act with restraint and common sense.

Ozuergin also said Turkey were not considering to send a delegation to investigate into incidents happened immediately after the suicide attack.

"We pretty much know how the incident had developed so we do not need to send a delegation," Ozuergin said.
