Turkey expresses sorrow over recent Pakistan attack

Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Saturday that the recent attack waged in Pakistan, which killed nearly 100 people and wounded more than 60, was "another manifestation of brutality".
Releasing a written statement, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the suicide attack waged in Lakki Marwat town of Northwestern Frontier Province of Serhad of Pakistan, had caused deep sorrow and concern in Turkey.
"Turkey wishes mercy upon those who lost their lives and swift recovery to the wounded and extends her condolences to the families of the victims," the statement said.
According to initial reports, nearly 100 people died and more than 60 were wounded in a terrorist attack waged during a volleyball game in Lakki Marwat town on the first day of 2010.
