Turkey gave on Friday a note to Bulgaria for an attack on two Turkish citizens.

Turkey's Embassy in Sofia sent a protest note to Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for an attack of racist Bulgarians on two Turkish citizens.

Murat Sipahioglu and Mustafa Erol, two Turkish citizens, were attacked by unidentified racist hooligans at a cafe in downtown Sofia when they were watching a Euro 2008 semi-final match between Turkey and Germany on Wednesday.

Turkish Embassy asked the Bulgarian authorities to take necessary measures and capture the assailants.
