Turkey signs trade agreement with Botswana
Two countries will set up a joint economic committee within the scope of the agreement and discuss several projects in various areas, said Turkish official.
Turkey signed a trade agreement with Botswana on Thursday.
Turkey's Foreign Trade Undersecretary Tuncer Kayalar and Phandu Tombola Chaka Skelemani, the minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation of Botswana, put their signatures under commercial, economic and technical cooperation agreement in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
"Two countries will set up a joint economic committee within the scope of the agreement and discuss several projects in areas such as agriculture and food safety, irrigation, transportation, communication, energy, mining, industrial development and technical assistance," Kayalar said during the signature ceremony.
Skelemani said that the agreement would pave the way for businessmen, and his country needed cooperation in science, technology, medicine and machinery.
