Turkey and Djibouti signed on Wednesday a cooperation protocol on a project to prepare agriculture master plan for Djibouti.
The project to be carried out by Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) and Djibouti's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock & the Sea aims to contribute to sustainable development in agriculture and stockbreeding in Djibouti.
Turkish State Minister Said Yazicioglu, who attended the signing ceremony, said that the project would also enhance agricultural efficiency and improve Djiboutian farmers' incomes.
Djiboutian minister Aboulkader Kamil Mohammed thanked Turkish government for its support and said the protocol would be the beginning of everything between Turkey and Djibouti which he described as two Muslim and sister countries.
