The Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) signed a cooperation protocol with Albania for restoration of Ottoman era monuments in this country.

Under the protocol, a number of mosques to be determined by the Albanian National Council for Restoration, will be restored by the Turkish agency.

The protocol was signed in Tirana earlier in the day by Turkish Ambassador in Tirana Hasan Asar and Albanian Culture, Tourism, Youth & Sports Minister Ferdinand Xhaferri.
