Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Mehmet Hilmi Juler and Minister of Oil and Minerals Khaled MahfoudBahah held talks on Tuesday on the necessary arrangements concerning his visit to Yemen on the upcoming May, Yemen news agency reported.

The two sides discussed in the light of President Ali Abdullah Saleh's latest visit to Turkey cooperation issues between the two countries, especially those related to encouraging investment, the agency said.

The meeting comes on the sidelines of the 11th International Energy Forum (IEF) activities which started on Monday in Rome, with the participation of 60 countries, in addition to heads of senior world petroleum firms.

The minister also held meetings with various participating ministers of petroleum to discuss and exchange viewpoints over energy issues.
