The southeastern city of Gaziantep is set become the home for Turkey's biggest museum compound, which would cost some 20 million YTL (1USD=1.18 YTL), city mayor said.

The compound will be built over a 40 thousand square meters area which is expected to be completed early 2009, Asim Guzelbey told the A.A.

The compound will include archeology and mosaic museums, and a cultural convention center.
