Turkey's foreign minister met with Azerbaijan's president in the German city of Munich on Friday.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who is currently in Germany to attend the 46th Security Conference, had a closed-door meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at Munich's Kempinski Hotel.
Later in the day, Davutoglu is also scheduled to hold talks with U.S. President Barack Obama's National Security Adviser James Jones.
As part of the 46th Security Conference in Munich, Davutoglu will attend a panel discussion and hold a series of bilateral talks on Saturday.
Davutoglu will deliver a speech at a panel discussion on security and stability in the Middle East on Saturday. Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon will also attend the panel discussion.
The three-day conference will begin with the opening remarks of German Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.
Davutoglu will also hold bilateral talks within the scope of the conference.
Nearly 300 ministers and government representatives from 50 countries will participate in the conference.
