Former Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan, founder of Islamist movement in Turkey, arrived in Iran to hold talks, semi-official Anadolu agency reported on Sunday.
Erbakan is expected to meet Iranian officials during one-week visit including Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad "upon an invitation".
In the yesterday's press conference in Turkish capital of Ankara, Erbakan said that "His visit to Iran aimed at enforcing ties between Turkey and Iran, and exchange ideas what to do for regional and global peace."
