UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Turkey on Friday in order to hold a series of talks as part of his Middle East tour.
Upon his arrival at Ankara's Esenboga airport, Ban Ki-moon proceeded to Cankaya Presidential Palace together with Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan.
During his stay in the Turkish capital, UN Secretary General will hold talks on the developments in Gaza. Within this framework, Ban Ki-moon will meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, moreover, he will get together with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan over dinner at the Prime Ministry residence.
After completing his talks in Ankara, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is expected to depart from Turkey for Lebanon late on Friday.
