Turkey's IHH said dressed a total of six thousands of orphan children around world for Ramadan Eid.

IHH, Humanitarian Relief Foundation, said in a statement, distributed "eid clothes" for 6 thousands of children, 3 thousand in Turkey and 3 thousand abroad during the Holy Ramadan month.



The foundation's "You too dress a child" campaign covers people in need in 54 cities of Turkey and 54 countries in the world.



"Before Eid Al Fitr, aid was reached to the children in the regions and countries where war, occupation, natural disasters and poverty are condensedly felt. Besides giving eid clothes for the orphans, families were also given food aid," the aid group said.



A group of concerned people individually formed IHH in response to attempt to ethnic cleansing of Serbs in Bosnia, largest genocide committed after the World War II.

Since then, IHH volunteers keeps aid missions throughout the world.
