Turkey's MUSIAD, a business association, held 18th Ordinary General Assembly on Saturday and named the Board of Directors for the next period.

MUSIAD President Omer Cihad Vardan explained their expectations in the economy for 2009 and views of the global financial crisis.

Stating that crisis have various stages as of the 'intensive care', 'recuperation' and 'recovery', Vardan said "The news that coming from industrial, manufacturing, exports, employment fronts show we are still in the intensive care period. During this phase, it is essential that companies and governments should avoid 'basic errors'.
