A car bomb killed 25 people and wounded 82 at a market in Tal Afar, 420 km northwest of Baghdad, on July 16th.

Turkey's Red Crescent sends humanitarian aid to Iraq
Turkish aid organization Kizilay (Red Crescent) has sent humanitarian aid to Iraq following the explosion in the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar.

Six Red Crescent personnel will hand over three truckloads of foodstuffs to Iraqi Red Crescent officials and the Turkish Consulate General in Mosul to be distributed to people in Tal Afar.
