Turkey's Toptan says killings in Gaza hurt conscience of humanity
Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan said Tuesday that he hoped economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Syria develop as in other fields.

We encourage Turkish entrepreneurs to invest in Syria, Toptan said.

Toptan and his delegation proceeded to Syria's fourth biggest city Hama from the city of Humus on Tuesday.

Toptan paid a visit to the Governor of Hama, Abdul Al Rezzak Qutini.

Qutini told Toptan that Syria appreciated the attitude displayed by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the recent incidents in Gaza.

Turkey's and Syria's views converge in detecting regional problems and in solving them, Toptan said.

"We want affluence for the peoples of both countries as they deserve this," Toptan said.

Stressing that Turkey reacted strongly against the recent incidents taking place in Gaza, Toptan said that "the Gaza incidents are neither the problem of Turkey nor Syria. The recent incidents in Gaza were a matter of concern for the whole humanity. The deaths of 431 children in Gaza have hurt the conscience of whole humanity. Whoever conducts similar incidents, Turkey's reaction would be the same".

Toptan and his delegation proceeded to Aleppo from Hama.
