Two new telescopes worth 2 million USD will be installed at Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) National Observatory, the director said on Friday.

Prof. Dr. Zeki Eker, the director of TUBITAK National Observatory, told the A.A correspondent that manufacture of the two telescopes was about to be completed in the United States.

T-60 telescope would be robotic and T-100 one would be fully automated and T-60 would be installed at the observatory in August, Eker stated.

Turkish scientists would have better observation opportunities with new telescopes, Eker stated.
