Turkey's TUVASAS to sell 100 passenger rail cars to Iran

The General Manager of Turkish Rail Car Factories Co. (TUVASAS), Ibrahim Ertiryaki, said Tuesday that his factory has signed a preliminary contract with an Iranian rail way company for the sale of 100 passenger rail cars.

Iran's Ata Tous Railway Company will pay 87,600,000 euros to TUVASAS for the production of 100 passenger rail cars.

The passenger cars would be equipped with restrooms and LCD tv screens.

TUVASAS would deliver the passenger rail cars in approximately 24 months.
