Turkey's year-end inflation expectations slightly up: CB survey

A survey conducted by Turkey's Central Bank and released on Friday has slightly raised expectations for the year-end inflation rate to 10.63 percent.

According to the survey of expectations, the consumer price index is predicted to rise 0.13 points to 10.63 percent.

The survey showed that predictions on year-end current account deficit rose to 47.68 billion USD, up from 46.83 billion USD.

The twice monthly study, which surveys economists and experts in the financial sector, also predicted a fall in expectations for end-2008 U.S. dollar rate to 1.3347 YTL, down from 1.3389 YTL.

Expectations on Turkey's year-end growth rate remained the same at 3.8 percent.
