At present, it has three weekly flights from Delhi and four from Mumbai.

''We will increase our capacity by 130 per by making the service seven days a week from Delhi and Mumbai,'' Turkish Airlines CEO Temel Kotil told a press conference.

The airline will introduce A330 aircraft on the route to increase the seat capacity to 500 daily.

He said the airline was very much interested in starting service from South India and was looking at Hyderabad and Chennai as destinations in 2010.

Kotil said they would also purchase 105 aircraft in the next eight years, preferably from Airbus and Boeing.
