An Istanbul court arrested early Sunday nine people and released seven others, including former Secretary-General of the National Security Council, in Ergenekon probe.
Retired colonel Ilyas Cinar was also released by the court together with Tuncer Kilinc.
Former head of Police's Special Forces Ibrahim Sahin was among those who were arrested by the court.
Three detainees, including another retired colonel Huseyin Vural, are still waiting for the court decision.
