A Turkish culture festival was held in the Canadian city of Toronto on August 2nd and 3rd.

The "3rd Toronto International Turkish Festival", organized by the Canadian Turkish Friendship Community, introduced the Turkish culture to Canadians.



During the two-day festival, Turkish music and folk dances as well as authentic food of the Turkish cuisine such as doner, baklava, gozleme and manti were introduced to Canadians.



Varol Soyler, chairperson of the Canadian Turkish Friendship Community, told A.A that the festival contributed remarkably to the promotion of Turkey and its culture.

The festival will also be held in Edmonton, the capital of Alberta province of Canada, on August 22nd and 23rd.
