Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babacan took up regional issues with Russian and Azerbaijani officials in Yerevan on Thursday.
Babacan is currently in Armenia to attend the 20th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
He held meetings with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammad Guliyev.
Babacan and Lavrov discussed Middle East, Afghanistan-Pakistan, Iran and southern Caucasus issues during their meeting. Babacan stressed the importance Turkey attached to Minsk process, and said that his country supported the process.
Babacan took up issues related to BSEC during his meeting with Mammadguliyev.
Azerbaijan is the new term president of BSEC.
