Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will go to Sharm El Seikh on Sunday to attend the Donors' Conference for Palestine.
A press release issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Babacan was invited by Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Ali Aboul Gheit to the conference officially titled as, "Conference in Support of the Palestinian Economy for the Reconstruction of Gaza" .
Turkish Foreign Ministry said Turkey always supported the Palestinian cause adding that it would make the necessary contributions in the Donors' Conference.
Members of the Quartet for the Middle East Peace Process, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, U.S. Secretary of State Clinton, Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov, EU High Representative Javier Solana and Czech Foreign Minister Schwarzenberg; and representatives of all international donors to the Palestinians will attend the conference which will be co-chaired by Egypt and Norway.
Humanitarian aid and early recovery of the Gaza Strip, as well as ways to help develop the Palestinian economy, will be discussed during the conference which will be held on March 2.
