Turkish State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Cemil Cicek, also the spokesperson of the government, said that the government was planning to bring up the democratic initiative to the parliament on November 10.
"The government wants to bring up the issue to the parliament, and deliberate on it next Tuesday," Cicek told reporters after the cabinet meeting in Ankara.
Cicek said the date of the discussion would depend on the agenda of the parliament.
