Turkish State Minister Bulent Arinc met with various Moroccan officials on Wednesday evening.

Arinc, currently in Rabat, Morocco to attend the International Jerusalem Forum, met with Moroccan Prime Minister Abbas el Fassi, Minister of Communications Khalid Naciri and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Taieb Fassi-Fihri.

Turkish-Moroccan relations, as well as international and regional matters were discussed during Arinc's bilateral talks.

The parties agreed to boost relations between Turkey and Morocco.

Trade volume between Turkey and Morocco is in an upward trend since 2004. Free Trade Agreement took effect between Turkey and Morocco on January 1, 2006 accelerated trade volume.
