Turkish Minister to hold talks with senior Dutch officials

Turkish State Minister for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan will travel to the Netherlands on Monday with a large group of businessmen.

Caglayan and his accompanying delegation of businessmen will stay in the Netherlands for two days. They are set to have talks with Dutch officials and companies to improve trade between the two countries, increase mutual investments and promote Turkish export goods in this country, Caglayan's office said in a statement on Monday.

Representatives from Turkey's construction industry, iron and steel industry, medical products industry as well as fresh fruits and vegetables exporters, textiles exporters, electrical appliance and automotive manufacturers will hold talks with Dutch companies, the statement said.

During his stay in the Netherlands, Caglayan will meet with Dutch Secretary of State Frank Heemskerk, Minister of Economic Affairs Maria Van der Hoeven, Justice Minister Hirsch Ballin and Deputy Justice Minister Nebahat Albayrak.

Caglayan will also make a speech at a symposium on "doing business with Turkey" that will be attended by Turkish and Dutch businessmen.
