Turkish, Montenegrin presidents boost economic ties
Turkish President Gul and Montenegro's President Vujanovic participated in the meeting of Turkey-Montenegro Business Forum in Podgorica.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Montenegro's President Filip Vujanovic participated in the meeting of Turkey-Montenegro Business Forum in Podgorica on Saturday.
Delivering a speech in the meeting, Gul said that Turkey was eager to boost its economic relations with Montenegro.
Montenegro has been moving on its ways towards NATO and EU memberships with sound steps, he said.
Gul said, "Montenegro's future is a bright one. It is waiting for Turkish investors."
Turkish businessmen should make good use of investment opportunities in the areas of energy and transportation in this country, he said.
In his part, Vujanovic said that relations between Turkey and Montenegro should be boosted.
Foreign investments in Montenegro have been increased every year and they eased procedures for foreign investors, Vujanovic said.
He said that they expected Turkish businessmen to be interested in airport project in Berane.
After the meeting of Turkey-Montenegro Business Forum, President Gul had a meeting with Montenegro's Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapic and attended luncheon hosted by Krivokapic.
