Turkish oil distributor plans to invest in Georgia

Turkish oil distribution company Petrol Ofisi plans to open 30 gas stations in Georgia, a company executive said on Wednesday.

Chief executive officer (CEO) Melih Turker said Petrol Ofisi will set up 8 stations this year.

"We plan to increase that number to 30 in three years," Turker told reporters at a press conference in Istanbul.

He said Petrol Ofisi has established a new company in Georgia to run its business in this country.
