Turkish PM calls world leaders over Gaza invasion
The Turkish prime minister called on Monday some of his counterparts regarding Israeli attacks against Palestine.
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, and discussed recent developments in Gaza.
Erdogan also debated possible humanitarian aid and need for an urgent cease-fire with his Russian, British and Italian counterparts.
The Turkish prime minister briefed his counterparts on his last week's visit to the Middle East, and called on them to cooperate and urge the international community to take action.
Erdogan travelled to Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia last week to help end the tragedy in Gaza.
