Turkish PM visits wounded Gazans
Turkish PM visited Palestinian citizens, who were injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza, and brought to Turkey for treatment.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited on Tuesday Palestinian citizens, who were injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza, and brought to Turkey for treatment.
Speaking to questions of reporters while departing from the hospital, Erdogan said, "as you know Turkish ambulance plane brought 10 injured Palestinians and some other people accompanying them to Turkey. Their treatment continues."
Erdogan said on Tuesday that there was possibility for Israel to attend cease-fire talks in Egypt.
Asked about some news reports that parties were coming closer to an agreement and Turkish troops would ensure security of the tunnels, Erdogan said, "talks are at a better phase when compared to two weeks ago. It is distressing that there is such a negative process despite the UN Security Council. However, talks in Egypt progress at a positive direction in the past 3 days."
