Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks with various leaders in United Arab Emirates where he is paying a state visit.

Regarding his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Sa'ad al-Din al-Hariri, Erdogan recalled that Hariri was in Turkey last week. Erdogan said that Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Jordan had a strong solidarity in the Middle East.

We have decided to pursue our activities in solidarity, he added.

Erdogan said that he discussed international solidarity as well as tourism sector with President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives.

Noting that the Maldives newly started to implement democracy, Erdogan said that the Maldives wanted to benefit from Turkey's experiences.

Erdogan said that his meeting with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Zayid al-Nuhayyan of UAE was important, adding that they decided to exert efforts to further develop the relations between Turkey and UAE.

Erdogan also held a closed-door meeting with Amir Muhammad Bin Rashid al-Maktum of Dubai at the prime ministry building.

During the gathering, Al-Maktum praised Turkey's economic and diplomatic success, as well as its relations with neighboring countries, officials said.

Erdogan informed al-Maktum on Turkey's foreign policy and expressed Turkey's will to cooperate with UAE in areas such as defense industry, energy diversity, peaceful nuclear energy investments, student exchange and health tourism, officials added.
