Bodies of two pilots aboard an ambulance helicopter which crashed near the northwestern province of Bolu was sent to Ankara by a helicopter on Sunday, Bolu deputy governor Ismail Atasoy said.
Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim said that after aviation officials lost radio contact with the ambulance helicopter, search and rescue operation was launched in the region on Saturday.
"Unfortunately we lost two pilots on board. The helicopter crashed into the area between Koroglu hill and Sariobabasi village near Kibriscik town," he told reporters.
