Zenit St Petersburg's Turkish forward Fatih Tekke has joined Russian champions Rubin Kazan, the St Petersburg club said on Tuesday.

Zenit decided to part company with Tekke after he fell out of favour with the club's new Italian coach Luciano Spalletti.

The striker was dropped by Spalletti from the first team after arriving late for Zenit's training camp in Turkey last week.
