Turkey's major labour unions will hold a mass rally in Ankara Sunday to protest "unfair labour practices."

Major labour and trade unions like KESK, TMMOB and TTB will participate in the mass rally which is organised under the "Democracy and Rights" by Turkey's largest federation of labour unions TURK-IS.

Fireman from Istanbul, workers who are opposing the shutting down of the sugar factories, and workers from the shut down Monopoly factories who have been struggling for 33 days to secure a transfer to other public institutions along with their employee rights will also attend the meeting.

Three workers from each group will address the protestors during the rally.

Workers who are protesting "the unfair labour practices" will gather in front of the Ankara railway station and march to the Sihhiye square.
